NICARAGUA

So as I heard once, life starts at the end of your comfort zone...

Nicaragua, the place where I learned not to be afraid about the foreign...

And the foreign became wonderful...
Rivas, on our way to the boat to Ometepe Island... the bus dropped me off at what they call bus station, which it really is a messy and super crowded market. I went crazy with my camera capturing its people and their humble business.

Ometepe Island is located in the Great lake of Nicaragua and it is the biggest volcanic island in a lake. It is 31 km long and 5 to 10 km wide and it is formed by two volcanoes, Concepción and Maderas. Its name derives from the Nahuatl words ome (two) and tepetl (mountain), meaning two mountains.

And this place become magical when you get to this sand cape, you turn around and you see a lake divided by this sandbar and the Maderas volcano rising high on the sky...

It was in Puerto Sandino Surf Resort where it felt like home and where we met those restless kids playing and surfing whenever they could.

Entire fisher families.

The boom, Aposentillo, Chinandega. Las Dunas Surf Camp gave us the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful beaches and epic waves known because of its crazy power...

Nicaragua.
