"The sunrise is going to be that good"

Is the text I received from photographer & Salt Water contributor Brenton De Rooy at 5.54am... This was all the motivation needed for me to jump straight out of bed & into my wetsuit. With anticipation of the radiant sun about to rise over the sea we rushed to get into the ocean. We didn't want to miss that moment of perfection.

The water clear. The air crisp. The waves clean. The ingredients of a blissfully beautiful morning were coming together one by one...

As we paddled out Brenton mentioned he had some innovative shooting techniques he'd been experimenting with. I had some new moves I'd been exploring recently & was determined to execute them.

Together, this enabled us to collaborate to capture some unique images.
