Meet Chris Burkard.
He’s an avid cyclist.
A father of 2.
A body surfer.
But he’s best known as and adventure photographer, travelling to distant regions of the globe.
One particular excursion led him to the Great Sand Dunes national park.
« What’s unique about sand dunes is they’re the result of those same wind patterns that create the swells we chase and the waves we surf. When you explore these scupltures for as far as the eye can see, it gives you a real sense of how art intersects with nature. »
Chris teamed-up with artist Luke Taafe, and the resulting image became the inspiration for Chris’ new Adventure Division collection with Billabong ; A range of high quality purpose built gear celebrating nature’s magic.
